• TOUCHETTE (Née POWERS), Raymonde

Passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Elisabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Unit.  Predeceased by her loving husband Eugène R. Touchette.  Dear mother of 5 children: Michel, Irène, Lorraine, Léon and Alain; Grand-maman to 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Sister to her brothers Paul and Ronald Powers.  She was a teacher and a dedicated volunteer for several organisations over the years, including the past 35 years at Bruyère Palliative Care Unit. Among the many activities offered by the Pauline Charron Center, she talked fondly of the knitting circle members.  With great appreciation, the family would like to thank the personal and excellent care, and great friendship, provided by the staff and volunteers at Bruyère Palliative Care Unit. Thanks to the Champlain Local Health Integration Network for their help in time of need.  Many thanks to Dr Poliquin for all your help.  A celebration of Raymonde’s life will be held probably in the Spring.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Foundation Bruyère, Palliative Care Unit, 43 Bruyère St., Ottawa, ON, K1N 5C8.
