After a brave struggle with cancer, Marica quietly passed away Wednesday, May 10th at May Court Hospice Ottawa. She will be dearly missed by son Jacob and husband Neil. Survived by sisters Ana and Nevenka, niece Amanda, nephew Elliott and his children Brody and godson Brayden and her extended family in Canada and Croatia. Loved by in-laws Steve, Brenda, Howie, Ed, Isabel, Erica and Rebecca. Predeceased by mother Ljubica Mahovlic and will be greatly missed by her work family of 25 years at the Chateau Laurier. Family will receive condolences Tuesday, May 16 at 10:00 am at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Church – 170 Hinchey Ave. Funeral mass at 11:00 am burial to follow at Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Mary to the May Court Hospice Care Ottawa. Rest in peace sweet Mary.
