It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Doug Shannon, who passed away unexpectedly early Monday, May 31, 2021, at his home in Stittsville.

He is survived by his Mother Sharon Cunningham, his Father Rob and step-mom Laura, and his ex-wife Allison Small. He is predeceased by his brother Michael and his stepfather Peter Cunningham. He also leaves behind many friends and relatives.

Doug was a great chef and an excellent mechanic. He loved to work on anything old, cars, trucks, boats and boat motors.

He loved the outdoors and sports, especially hockey, fishing and BBQing.

He was a caring and generous person who will be missed by many.
