The Florescu family announces with sorrow his passing away on December 5th, 2017 at the age of 95, at his residence. Neculae joins his beloved wife. Predeceased by his parents Neculae and Paraschiva, his brother and sister, Oliviu and Aurelia and his beloved wife Elena. He will be greatly cherished by his only daughter and son in law Viorica and Eugene of Ottawa, his grand children, Valentin and Octavian, their spouses Nicole and Ana and his niece Monelly Radouco-Thomas of Quebec City. He spent his working years as an electrical engineer with Romanian Railway Company. After retirement he emigrated to Canada and spent most of his time with a paint brush in hand, painting landscape and portraits. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a very vivacious and funny person. Private prayers to be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 259 St-Patrick Street, Ottawa, ON K1N 5K4.
