Pauline Lafrance

Nov 29, 1958 - Oct 26, 2024

Pauline Lafrance, a beacon of loving kindness, left us on a serene October day, but her legacy of selfless devotion will continue to light the path for all who knew her. Born Mary Pauline Lafrance on November 29, 1958, in the heart of Cornwall, Ontario, she was a shining example of what it means to lead a life filled with love and thoughtful gestures. Pauline’s journey came to a gentle close in Summerstown, Ontario, on October 26, 2024, after a dignified battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

She leaves behind her beloved spouse Claude Paquette, her daughter Kimberly (Mathieu) Boyer, three grandchildren; Karianne, Émilien and Émérik, her siblings Lionel (Judy), Vivian (Jean-Guy), Roland (Connie), Caroline and Roger, sisters and brothers-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Embodying the very essence of selflessness, she dedicated countless hours to nurturing not only her family but also the bonds within her “village”

The strength of family was Pauline’s guiding force. Each family gathering was a testament to the joy and unity she fostered, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with laughter and love.

Her spirit, characterized by a boundless capacity to give, became her hallmark, touching lives in ways that words alone could never fully capture. She taught us that the most profound impact we can have on this world is to love without reservation and to serve without expectation of reward.

In celebrating Pauline’s remarkable life, we honor a woman whose very existence was a tribute to the virtues of love, kindness, and selfless generosity. Her spirit, a lighthouse in the lives of so many, will continue to guide us. Pauline’s story does not end here; it is etched in the hearts of everyone she touched, urging us to carry forward her legacy of love. Though she has set sail from the shores of our world, the ripples she created will cascade endlessly through the lives of those she loved.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Bayshore and the many health care providers that helped take care of Pauline. A special thank you to Bonnie Marshall for the many years of care and friendship.

A celebration of life for Pauline with friends and family will be held at a future date.

“May you enjoy endless cribbage games with many perfect hands while country music fills the air. We love you”
