JUNEAU, Jacques (Jack) and JUNEAU, Ethel (Née TRUDEL)

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our dear father and grandpa who passed, Sunday April 11th, 2021, predeceased by the love of his life Ethel (née Trudel) of sixty four years on January 5th, 2021. He will be

dearlmissed by his children Danielle (Gary), Philip (Judy) and Paul (Glorinda).  Cherished Grandpa to Melissa (Matt) , Jason (Ten), Nicolas, Davide ,Greg ( Shannon) and Brianna.  Great grandpa to Asher. He treasured countless memories of his sisters Madeleine and Claire, his brother Paul, his predeceased brothers Robert and Nelson as well as many loved nephews and nieces and loving parents Colombe Brunelle and Lucien Juneau.

Jack lived a courageous life dealing with several health issues while caring for his dear wife coping with type 1 diabetes. Retired from E.B.Eddy’s  in 1989 as a lab technician after serving 35 years service. Jack provided well for his family, loved his cottage at Saint-Pierre-de-Wakefield, enjoyed watching sports, attending his grandsons hockey games and family gatherings.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear mother and nana who passed on her 84th birthday, Tuesday January 5th, 2021, leaving behind her loving husband Jacques of sixty four years. She will be missed by her children Danielle (Gary Roy), Philip (Judy) and Paul (Glorinda).  Cherished Grandmother to Melissa (Matt) , Jason ( Ten) Nicolas, Davide ,Greg ( Shannon) and Brianna, great grandmother to Asher. She treasured countless memories of her sisters, brothers, sisters and brothers-in law as well  many loved nephews and nieces.  Ethel was predeceased by her siblings Gaston, Rita, Lola and Johnny, daughter of Arthur and Clementine.

Ethel lived a fulfilling and courageous life while coping with type 1 diabetes since she was 18 years old and dementia in her later years. Working as a secretary at many institutions retiring from the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1992. She loved family gatherings , cottage life, reading romance novels, green gummy bears and nibs. She was an avid Trekkie, a Star Wars fan and enjoyed watching figure skating. She will be sorely missed by her bountiful family and friends.

Sincere thanks to the staff of Place Besserer who cared for dad so lovingly over the years namely Dr. Chris, Marie-Claire, Linda, Veronique, Maria, Sylvie and Michel. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Civic and Montford hospital who cared for him.
