It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sister Glorinda “Glo” Torres, on April 13, 2024, at the age of 62. She was the daughter of the late Joao Torres and the late Antonieta Cunha Torres.

She will always be in our hearts and dearly missed forever. As she always said Live Laugh Love.

She leaves to grieve, her beloved husband Paul Juneau, her loving siblings Helena (Lawrence), Joao (Bernadette) and Elvina (Denis), and her stepsons Jason (Tenni) and Davide.

She also leaves behind her brother in-law Philip (Judy), and sister in-law Danielle (Gary) her nephews Sebastien (Marie), Maxime (Vicky), Storm (Simona), Hunter (Mary), Melissa (Matt), Nicolas, Greg (Shannon) and Brianna and many friends that she considered as family.

Some of Glo’s hobbies since retirement have been gardening, meeting friends and family for lunch on a weekly basis and spending time with her dog Aby.

A special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU at Montfort Hospital for the exceptional care and support they provided to our sister and to our family at this extremely difficult time.

As per Glo’s wishes a private ceremony will take place at a later date.  Donations in memoriam can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
