GENEST, Laurier – Passed away peacefully with loved ones at his bedside at the age of 98 on May 19th, 2016. He was predeceased by his loving wife Laurette and  grandson André Genest. Loving and devoted father to Hélène (Robert) Fortier, Normand (Marie), Diane (Luc) Pinard, Réjean (Aida), Doris (Faiz Griplas), René (Gisèle) and Marc.  He will be deeply cherished and forever remembered by his 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place Sunday, May 22nd, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Racine, Maison funéraire Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, ON).  Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 at EGLISE ST. JOSEPH, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd, Orleans, ON.
