It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth with his family by his side.  Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Pigeon).  Cherished Father of Shelley (Michael) Sheedy, Renfrew and Melanie (Roy) Dick, Douglas; Step father of Neil (Lora), Vancouver.  The best brother to Earl (Sybil) , Mackey; Mark (Brenda), Pembroke; Loretta Fitzpatrick (the late Art) Ottawa; Teenie Selkirk (Bill), Chalk River.  Predeceased by Raymond (the late Beverly); Donald (Louise Croshaw), Bernard (Angele), Jeanne (the late Maurice) & Muriel (the late Larry Meleskie).

Brother in-law to Betty (Andrew), Ottawa; the late Harry (the late Susan), Cobden; Bernard (Christine), Ottawa; Marie (the late Murray), Almonte; Donald (Sandra), Tweed; Cecilia (Paul), Ottawa; Pauline (Peter), Pembroke; (by first marriage, the late Wayne Kohlsmith), Gerard (Bonny) Chatham; Desmond (Joan), Ottawa; Michael (the late Sandra), Cobden.

Patrick was an incredible Poppa to  8 grandchildren Angie Vander Kooi (Kevin) of Newmarket,  Jonathan Wren (Angie) of Pembroke, Jordan Wren of Castlegar, BC,  Jenna Dick, Rebecca MacDonald (Steven) of London, Patrick Dick (Hilary) of Douglas, Clark & Jane Childerhose of Vancouver and 9 great grandchildren, Noah Vander Kooi, Jacob & Jason Wren, Alana Wren, Zachary & Hazel MacDonald, Audrey, Clifton & Phoebe Dick and adored uncle to many nieces & nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to  the care of First Memorial Funeral Services – Fairview Chapel, Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius V Osceola will take place on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception at the Cobden Legion.

Patrick spent much time enjoying the hunt camp with family and friends, and loved his Chrysler trucks, he was always happy in spirit, and loved a good conversation about hunting and fishing. Many memories will last of our trips to Prince Edward Island.  A special heartfelt thanks to Tracy Lettner for all the love and care she has given Pat over the last few years!
