EMERY, Gerard Maurice Joseph – January 29^th, 1945 – April 27^th, 2018.  It is with great sadness the family announces his passing at the May Court Hospice Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 73 years.  Predeceased by his wife Bonnie (2012).  Father of Lorne (Diane) Emery of Mont Albert, Ontario and grandfather of Olivia and Trevor.  Gerard will be missed by his two sisters June Champagne and Helen Brown as well as his loving cousin Shirley (Ken) Major.  Predeceased by his parents Leo and Edna (Desormeaux) Emery.  In following with Gerard’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Donations to the May Court Hospice Ottawa, Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would greatly be appreciated by the family.
