It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellen Templeton on May 14, 2023 at the age of 81 after six months of battling health conditions. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was predeceased by her parents Russell and Phyllis Wyman, her husband Alan Templeton, and her brother Philip Wyman. Ellen is survived by her sister Grace (Doug) Sewell, sister-in-law Fran Wyman, sons John Templeton, Steve (Deb) Templeton, and daughters Debbie (Richard) Pitts, Karen (Peter) Smiley, and Mary Ellen Templeton. Ellen also leaves her grandchildren Tara Templeton, Erik Templeton, Maggie (Amari) Harris, Justin (Jessie) McKay, David (Alice Luca) Pitts, Kyle (Lisa) Templeton, Amanda Templeton, Nic (Tori Legault) Smiley, Melissa Smiley, and great grandchildren Mia Harris, Jaxton McKay, and Willow Templeton. Ellen was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and neighbour.

 

Ellen’s family would like to thank the incredible staff at Bruyère – Hôpital Saint-Vincent Hospital for their kindness and caring of her over the last six months.

 

Ellen will be celebrated by her family privately, and interment will be in New Brunswick with her late husband.
