Marion Barbara May Hope (Marr), on Saturday, September 10 at 1:30 pm at the age of 93, passed from this world into the arms of so many loved ones on the other side waiting for her to join them. With family by her side, she was surrounded by love, laughter and the joy of shared stories and memories. Her strength, open hearted love and resourcefulness was unmatched. She was an amazing woman who raised 6 children on her own. Always the caregiver: she worked over 40 years as a registered nurse, a career she knew she would have from the time she was 3 years old. Predeceased by her husband John Hope, her dear Sister Dorothy Hamilton (Marr), and her beloved sons, Bruce, Robert and David. Survived by her sons Bill and wife Judy (Morton), Donn and wife Karen (Ijjangiaq), her daughter Elizabeth (Snell) and husband Geoff, her 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she loved so much: Caitlin LePage, Courtney Hope, Allie Snell, Meaghan Hope and Greg Snell. She will be dearly missed not only by her family but by the many friends who loved and respected her as well. We love you; we know that you are watching over us, and that you are now at peace.

A visitation will be held at Riverside United Church, 3191 Riverside Drive on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 12:30, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30. Please join the family for a reception following the service and final inurnment of Marion, Bruce, Robert and David at Beechwood Cemetery at 4:00.
