• Karin Hunter (nee Martin)

Karin Hunter (Martin) passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Monday, July 4th, 2022. Sister to Peter Martin. Mother to Christina Hunter Cadieux (Christopher) and Steven Hunter (Josée). Exceptionally proud Oma to Robin, Norah and Owen. Daughter of the late Alois (Pic) and Hilda Martin. Karin had a great love of fabric arts. Her joy was to spend hours sewing, knitting, crocheting, and beading. Her creations will be treasured by family and friends alike. Karin’s caring and playful spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Celebration of life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services (259 St. Patrick St., Ottawa), Saturday, July 9, 2022 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Karin may be made to the Good Companions Seniors’ Centre (https://thegoodcompanions.ca/get-involved/make-a-donation/).
