• In Loving Memory of Pedro Cano (Pete)

Pedro « Pete » Cano passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on October 1st, 2025. Loving spouse to Marie Josee Messier and caring father to Yuhli Messier-Cano, both residing in Cornwall.

Pedro is remembered by his sisters, Mery, Martha and Maria, as well as several nieces and nephews living in North America, South America, and Europe. He was predeceased by his parents, Gregoria (Maldonado) and Benigno, and by his brother, Fernando.

Leaving his home country, Bolivia, at a young age, he travelled and lived in Europe for six years to finally cross back the ocean and establish himself in Canada in 1973. Pete has always been a strong defender of human rights and Nature, which he expressed through several paintings and writings. He will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace.
