In Loving Memory of Christopher Kimotho

Wilfred Christopher Kimotho, better known as Chris, died on December 29th 2025 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Chris was born to Marilyn and David Kimotho on December 15th 1970 at the former Grace Hospital in Ottawa. Chris attended Sir Robert Borden High School and was actively involved in the military reserves.

Chris was an excellent communicator, professional, relatable, and deeply empathetic—qualities that shaped his more than twenty‑year career in sales and customer service.

Chris was known for his generosity, excellent cooking, and he was the go to for all technology related matters. Chris was loved by all because he was warm, pleasant, likeable, charming, generous and hospitable.

Chris is survived by (his children Corwin (Vanessa) and Shakeel; grandchildren Aayla, Arianna, and Hendrik; siblings Anthony (Lynette) and Beverly; relatives Ng’ang’as, Crawfords, Halls; and many friends.

Service of Thanksgiving to God for the life of Chris will be held at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church 225 McClellan Rd, Nepean ON. Monday January 12th @ 1:30 pm EST. The service will be conducted by Reverend Catherine Annette Harper (cousin). Reception immediately following with a late lunch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada to fund life-saving research in the name of Christopher Kimotho.
