Marc, beloved son of the late Simone Trebert (née Daoust) and Leon Trebert, passed away in Ottawa at the age of 74. Marc is survived by his spouse, Betty Anne Trebert and his son, Blake Rhodes Trebert (Natalie Boone) from Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his sister, Karen Trebert (Raymond Robinson) and family in Ottawa;  and his brother Michael Trebert and family from Sydney, Australia. Marc grew up in Lowertown Ottawa.  He attended St-Joseph’s Elementary School and later obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Ottawa and a diploma from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto. Marc spent over 25 years in New Orleans, Louisiana where he enjoyed a career as a portrait artist. When hurricane Katrina devastated the city in 2005, Marc returned to Ottawa where he continued to work independently as an artist and photographer. Marc’s family would like to acknowledge the excellent care he received in his last days at the Diane Morrison Hospice. Interment and  celebration of life will be held at a later date.
