Theresa Delagrave

It’s with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Delagrave on April 25th 2024 in Ottawa ontario. Born on January 10th, 1925 in Deschaillons-sur-Saint Laurent QC to her parents Alexandre Delagrave and Maria Carrier

She is predeceased by her beautiful daughter Nicole Griffin and her companion Lorne Lindensmith.

Theresa is leaving behind her cherished grandchildren Katrina (Tony) Simpson and Thomas (Bree) Griffin. She will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren Brayden, Ann, Nolan, Janie and Avery.

We would also like to mention her dear  friend Patricia Williams who has been a great friend of hers over the years.

May she rest in peace and fly high with the angels above.

A memorial will be held in the late spring.

    I met Terera as a neighbour when she lived at 902 – 35 Holland Ave.
    I learned much from her, although she never would reveal to me how many languages she learned and spoke! Unfortunately I saw much less of her after she moved to The Duke on Carling Ave. I thank Patricia Williams for keeping me informed of her welfare and her passing back to the spirit world.
