Sheldon Arnal Jobity

Mar 30, 1964 - Aug 26, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce Sheldon’s sudden passing at the age of 60.  Sheldon is survived by his son Tyler and his sister Sharon, nephew Dominic and niece Khadija, and will be fondly remembered by many family members and friends.

Born in Windsor, Ontario on March 30, 1964, Sheldon grew up in Brampton.  In his early 20’s Sheldon served proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces.  In later years, his profession in Insurance sales took him to Toronto and Ottawa. With a passion for music, Sheldon’s guitar was his constant companion.

Sheldon was a devoted and loving father to his son Tyler, and a kind friend to all who knew him.   He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends and will be deeply missed.  May he rest in peace.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday September 9th  at 12:00pm, St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, 2547 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke.

As a young student at STA everyone knew Sheldon as a great athlete, funny, friendly and personal and popular guy. Us younger kids really looked up to him. I was very sad to hear the news of his passing and send my families sympathy to his family. I’m very sorry for your loss

Devastated to learn of this news from a former colleague. I worked closely with Sheldon for 3 years and we remained friends when he moved to Ottawa. He was smart, compassionate and loved his family and friends. He seemed happy in Ottawa and was working hard to support people with their insurance. Very sad and sorry that he’s gone. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I just heard this sad news, a few days late to attend his send-off but, I hope, not too late to give my condolences.
To Sharon, and all of Sheldon’s loved ones, you have my deepest sympathy.

I met Sheldon at St Thomas Aquinas in Brampton. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and my relatives’ the Robinsons were very good friends with his parents. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory. Condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to Sheldon’s family. I went to high school with Sheldon and his parents and mine were good friends so we would spend time together when our parents hung out. We will keep your family in prayer as you mourn this incredible loss
