• SÉGUIN (Née FARRELL), Thérèse

We are plunged into sadness at the death of our Mom, Thérèse Séguin, who passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, one day after her 97th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Jean-Lorenzo Séguin, she leaves in mourning six children Louise (Joe), Marie (Laurent), Jean- Francois (Solange), Lucie (Marc), Anne (Philippe) and Sylvie (Henry), as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Sister Francoise Seguin, sco, and Mrs. Lucille Farrell.

Born in Pendleton, Ontario, to Alexis Farrell and Fabiola Trudeau, she will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her ever-contented disposition – and wit! Trained as a nurse, she was always caring and solicitous of others’ needs until the very end. She was a fantastic cook, an excellent bridge player and an outstanding homemaker.

We would like to thank the staff at the Garry J. Armstrong Residence for their sustained and exceptional care.

Funeral arrangements are being conducted by First Memorial Funeral Services, 259 St. Patrick Street, Ottawa.
