Diane, my sister, was born in Southport England June 1965, Diane moved to Toronto originally before moving to Ottawa to be with her partner, not long after moving here she opened her own salon as a young talented stylist, soon becoming an accomplished business women and part of the community she so dearly loved and called her home.
Diane was elegant, charming and sometimes feisty with a heart of gold, she made friends easily and had a wide range of friends which she built up throughout her life here in Ottawa.
Diane’s beloved Hugh, her beautiful Gordon Setter, and Leo; her cat were with her through passing. Sadly, we too, are saying goodbye to our much-loved Diane, we would like friends to join us for a glass of wine, appetizers and a few memories,
Hope to see you on the 9th August between 2.00pm to 4.00 pm at The Hintonburg Public House, 1020 Wellington Street West, Ottawa, Tel 613 421 5087
Never thought I’d lose you, But here I am, Standing alone, Without you by my side, We’re sisters for life, We promised, But now you’re gone, I don’t know what to do, Without you, I’m going crazy, I’m trying to hold on, To keep strong, But it just doesn’t feel right, I’m waiting here, My arms wide open, Tears running down my face, Ready for your return, Even if it takes forever, My sister…
You helped me through dark times. I wished I could have done the same for you. My children , my family and I will always love you.
So sad to see her go. But she is now at peace. We will all miss her.
Diane was a very sweet and kind friend. I met her because she was helping my artist friend, Maciek Kozlowski, with displays of his art in her salon, The Hair Committee, for many years. I will miss her dearly but I know that her soul is in a wonderful, special place we can call Heaven. She will continue to watch over all her loved ones and make a positive and strong, Guardian Angel energy for all those she loved and appreciated !! I will miss her dearly!!
We are so saddened by the loss of our dear friend Diane. Our hearts were touched by her wonderful smile, generous heart and love of animals. We will miss her and have been thinking of her often. Our deepest sympathies to the family, it is a sad journey you make to come this way. Diane is at peace, I hope we can be comforted by that.
