Sharon O’Brien (nee Weatherall) passed away on March 20, 2022 at the age of 71 with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Desmond. Loving and cherished mother of Shelly (late Mike McCann) and Nevin (Cindy). Devoted and much loved Nanny to Haley, Chelsea and Abbie. Survived by her siblings Stephen (Debbie), Wayne (Donna) and Bruce (Helen).  Predeceased by her parents Frank and Victorine (nee Gunn), sister Gayle, brothers Lorne (late Marcelle) and Brian (Carol).

The family would like to say a special thank you to the PSWs that cared for Sharon while she was living at the Pearly and to the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for the wonderful care she received.

A private celebration of life is being planned. Donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
