• Norman Wayne Splane

Norman Wayne Splane of Gatineau (Aylmer), Quebec. Son of the late May Carvell and Silas Splane, was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. Husband of the late Diane Scrivener Splane (Red) and father to Norma (Kevin), Shanondoe and Jason (Kerri-Anne). Cherished Grandfather of Tyler, Victoria (Ben), Justin (Kelli), Aaron (Emily), Alexandra (Robin), Julianna (Eric), Emma (Caleb), Alyssa and Jakob, and step-grandfather to Chris, Justin and Kayla (James). Beloved Great Grandfather to Arianna, Landon, Nathan, Aiden, Chloe, Lillian, Zoe and Karson. He leaves behind his brothers Ralph and Lorne, sisters Myrna, Rose, Linda and Sheila. Predeceased by sister Valerie. He also leaves behind his in laws including his buddy Curly, many nieces and nephews and extended family. Some of the best years of his life were spend atop the paver or in the garage with Ben at Deschenes Construction or spend hunting, fishing, drinking or spending time at the camps. A mentor to many and a friend to all.
