We are sad to announce the passing of Rose-Helene Mountney on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 59. A loving mother to three children. Rose was born on April 8, 1960 in Hoyle to Alice and Charles Savage and is the second youngest child. Rose had a love for tennis, country music and loved her children and grandchildren. Rose is pre-deceased by her father Charles, mother Alice, her first husband Marc, brothers Norman, Andre, sister-in-law Yvette & brother-in-law Richard. She is survived and greatly missed by her children Melissa (Joe), Coreen (David) and Nicholas. Her brothers Emile (Janet), Johnny, Robert (Helene), Fern and Denis. Also survived by her sisters Sally, Cecile and Carole (Robert). She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews & friends as well her three grandchildren Olivia, Ethan & Addison. Burial will be held in Timmins, ON at a later date in July 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the charity of your choosing for COPD & Mental Health Awareness research.
I didn’t get to know Rose long but we became great friends. I got to know her, her children and her grandchildren. I felt like I knew her forever. I will always remember our talks, laughs and tears. My condolences to her family and Rose will always have a a special place in my heart. â¤

I have been blessed to have as my aunt and sister at same time growing up we were more like sisters she has been there for me many times and I will never forget her kind heart ❤️ I will miss her dearly love you Rose 🌹
