Nov 08, 1956 - Sep 10, 2023
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Kei Catherine Moray on September 10, 2023, two months shy of her 67th birthday.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Michael (married 37 years), daughters Laura (Josh) and Christine (Franklin); granddaughter Chloe; mother (Donna) and predeceased by father (Robert – 1999); mother and father-in-law (John and Jenny); sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews (Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta), family dog Rio, and her many friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
Kei’s love, endless generosity, selflessness, caring and kindness extended to everyone with amazing family celebrations, cottage trips, Sunday dinners, book club meetings, volunteering as an ESL teacher, and even after passing, being an organ donor where she saved three lives. She will be remembered as a brilliant economist, loving wife, devoted daughter, supportive mother, and sweet Baachan to her granddaughter Chloe. The greatest joy in her life was watching her daughters grow up and start their own families.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Expressions of love and sympathy can be shown by signing your organ donor card at https://beadonor.ca/campaign/michael-panyszak .

We are profoundly saddened by the sudden passing of our dear sister (in-law) Kei. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister (to us), aunt, cousin, and friend. Kei’s love for her entire family and for all her friends was evident in the care and concern she put into all her interactions and family gatherings. Kei never missed a birthday or anniversary. We will cherish the memory of our family gatherings in Montreal and Vermont and especially the family weekend at the end of July which she tirelessly organized. We all had a wonderful time; we laughed and reminisced. Our hearts are broken, but Kei will live on in our memories. We will keep her memory alive for Chloe and her future grandchildren.
With all our Love,
Maria & George
I will miss her warm smile, witty sense of humour, her laughter, kindness,. My deepest condolences to all her family.

The news of Kei’s passing shook us to our very core. It is with much sadness that we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all. We will fondly remember the many happy visits we had at your home. Kei made us feel welcome and always cooked up a storm. We will miss Kei and I (Akemi) will especially miss our frequent long phone calls. Although the world has lost a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and Baachan, Kei’s memory will be kept alive in everyone who loved her. Kei’s selfless act of organ donation has also given a new lease on life to the recipients. May the lifetime of memories of your dear wife and mother bring you comfort now and always.
Love
