MCCANN, Michael Joseph

Michael McCann, 52, died peacefully at home on 22 July 2021 surrounded by loved ones.  Beloved husband of Shelly (nee O’Brien) and father to Haley and Chelsea.  Mike is predeceased by his mother Ann and survived by his father Desmond and siblings Christine Gauthier (John), Christopher, Desmond (Heather), and Kevin.  At Mike’s request there will be no visitation or service.
We are very grateful for the support provided by the ALS Society of Canada and encourage donations to them in Mike’s honour in lieu of flowers. Please visit als.ca to see how you can help by telling your elected officials that it’s unacceptable to make Canadians with ALS wait years to access new treatments after they’ve been approved by Health Canada.
Mike was a big music fan, please take some time today to listen to your favourite music while thinking of him.
