It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Elizabeth (Betty) Ward (Nee Dickens) who passed away Saturday October 15, 2022 at the age of 81.  Dearly beloved mother survived by daughters Catherine and Geraldine (Nigel) and cherished grandmother to Brandon. Predeceased by her husband John and son Glenn.

Betty was born and raised in Saskatchewan and moved to Ottawa where she worked as an administrator at many organizations.  She made a loving home for her family as well as for her cats Gumby, Noah, Clio, and Koshka.  Betty had a passion for knitting, cooking, and baking.  She was an enthusiastic book collector as well as an avid gardener.

At her request, there will be a private interment at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. In memory of Betty, donations to the Canadian Blood Services or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
