It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Murray (nee Howell), a resident of Alta vista Manor, on January 4, at the age of 80. Born in Montreal and a graduate in Physiotherapy from McGill, Linda was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose unwavering love and presence touched many lives.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph Howell and Eileen Howell (nee Doray) and her brother John Howell. Linda leaves behind John’s widow Marilyn, sister Maureen Kendall (Stephen),
brother Mark Howell (Heather), and a host of nieces and nephews who were blessed to call her aunt. Linda lived a life full of love, faith, and resilience. She had a gift for making friends and family
feel special, offering compliments and thoughtful words.

Linda’s kind heart extended beyond her family. She had a gift for making friends and family feel special, offering compliments and thoughtful words. Her generosity and care were evident in the
many ways she contributed to her family’s joy, from hosting celebrations to creating cherished memories.

Music and faith were central to Linda’s life. Her love for music brought her joy and comfort, while her deep and abiding faith in God provided strength during challenging times.
In honor of Linda’s life and legacy, the family invites you to celebrate her memory by making an offering to her beloved church, the Metropolitan Bible Church, or a donation to a charity of your
choice in lieu of flowers.

Linda’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will forever be remembered. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held on January 9 at 11:00, at The Met Chapel, 2176 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, ON K2E 0A1. The family will greet visitors during a reception following the service.
