Kelly Wood ( Hal Arthur), age 65, passed away November 6, 2022, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Ottawa.

Born September 14, 1957 in Halifax, N.S., Kelly was predeceased by father Harold, mother Diane, and younger brother Chris.  She is survived by sister Dawn (husband Bruce.)

Kelly lived across Canada and Germany while growing up in her military family. She settled in Ottawa and got her degree in Chemical Engineering. Kelly spent time at Dalhousie U, Halifax, for her Master’s Degree in Engineering.

Kelly worked with the NRC researching semi permeable membranes. She had an innovative Royal Canadian Mint employment and an intense University of Ottawa research career.  Her phenomenal oil painting also filled many years.

In 1993 Kelly started signing her paintings with her chosen name.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bedford.
