It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved Mom, Nana, GG (great-grandma), sister, aunt and friend on May 26, 2022.  Evelyn was born in Winnipeg, lived many years in Montreal then moved to Ottawa in 2002.  After suffering a massive stroke on May 25, 2022, she departed the following day to join her beloved son Stephen, her parents Walter Harrison Taylor & Rosetta Maude Allum and her sisters Linda St. Onge, Billie Mae Paliotti and Muriel Jette. Evelyn “Evie” is survived by her sister Patricia Cran (Murray) and brother Kenneth Taylor (Pat).

She will live on in the hearts of her children, Debbie (Jim Camirand), Jim (Michelle Bisson), Raymond (Marylin Pierson), Tom (Anne-Marie Tessier) and Diana (Richard Vernon).  She was a special Nana to her 9 grandchildren whom she cherished – Stephanie, Amanda, Alexandra, Jamie, James, Danny, Kristie, Tania & Ariana and a beloved GG to her 6 great-grandchildren whom she adored – Isaac, Xavier, Bianca, Abby, Everett & Avery. She will also be lovingly remembered by many other friends and family, including her dearest  friend, Bernice Rogers.

A Celebration of Life to honor Evie will be held at a later date.
