Frank Trepanier

Aug 09, 1946 - Mar 16, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Trepanier, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many. Frank had an incredible gift for conversation—he could talk to anyone about anything and never missed an opportunity to make a connection. He was also a man with a generous heart, always putting the needs of others before his own and lending a helping hand wherever he could.

Frank was the devoted father of two children, Matt and Lisa, and a caring father-in-law to Nathalie and Matt. He was a proud grandfather to four: Jon, Alexis, Lincoln, and Liam. He shared a lifelong friendship with his former wife, Shelley Trepanier, who remained a close and cherished part of his life.

He was especially proud of his work as a volunteer with the Capital Fair Board, where he served as a dedicated member and former president. His contributions to the fair and his community reflected his deep commitment to bringing people together and making a difference.

Frank’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering generosity will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held at Local Heroes 1400 Clyde Ave. on March 23 from 3-6PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Frank’s memory by sharing a kind word, lending a hand, or striking up a conversation with a stranger—just as he always did.

Rest easy, Dad. Your kindness, generosity, and love will live on in all of us.
