In Ottawa, Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital, Elizabeth "Betty" (Leddy) O'Neill passed peacefully Saturday March 2 2024 at the age of 78 years. Beloved mother of
James O'Neill (Marie) of Ottawa and Mary Teresa and her husband Andy Silcox of St Thomas Ont. Grandmother of Kyla, Kale, Jake. Sister of Norman (Sandra), Harold (Diane), Jim (Sue) of Goderich
Predeceased by Clayton, Eleanor, and Joanne.

In memory of Leddy, donations to the Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation to plant a memorial tree would be greatly appreciated.

    Condolences to son, James and the rest of the family from James’ friends at the Pen and Paper workshop in Ottawa. While I never had the honour of meeting Elizabeth in person, our gathering has heard about her and her wonderful qualities from her son.

    My condolences to all of Betty’s family, friends and caregivers.
    I will forever remember her unconditional love, quick wit,
    humor and ever present smile. She brought such joy to all
    who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
