On Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 in the Ottawa Civic Hospital in his 97th year.  Beloved husband of Lina Stella Lafrance. Dear father of Ronald (Patricia) and Peter Dagenais, both from Ottawa.  Deeply missed by three grandchildren; Sylvie Lamoureux, Michael and Jennifer Dagenais-Baldwin.  Dear brother of Hubert.  Predeceased by his parents Jospeh and Leona Herbert, son Roger (Suzanne); brothers Gerard, Bruno, Rheal, Rock, Jacques, Jean-Claude and his sisters Pauline and Raymonde.  Arthur was born in Marionville, Ontario on July 30th, 1921.  He will be sadly missed by sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, June 25th, 2018 from 6-8pm at First Memorial Funeral Services – Fairview Chapel (259 St. Patrick St. Ottawa, ON).  A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday June 26th, 2018 at 10am at St. Patrick’s Basilica (220 Kent St. Ottawa, ON).  Burial will take place immediately following the service at Notre Dame Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
