We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear brother Peter on January 18, 2019.

He touched the lives of those who knew him through his gentleness, his humour, his talent and creativity, his love of family, his closeness to nature and all living things. He also battled with addiction, depression and anxiety with courage. Our beloved Peter, predeceased by our dear sister Catherine, will be forever remembered by his sisters, Mary (Emilio Mozo), Stephanie (Michel Allard) and his brother Joseph (Jennifer Brunet), his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Corinna, Pablo, Patrick and Maxine, his grandnieces, Lili and Sadie, and his grandnephews, William and Pepper. The family will welcome you at Rigpe Dorje Centre (where Stephanie is a member), 503 5th Ave, Verdun, Montreal,

H4G 2Z2, on Sunday, March 3rd, from 1 to 4 p.m. A celebration honouring Peter’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Peter Colvey to The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre and addictions program, and The Ottawa Mission are appreciated.

    I knew Peter from work. A kind hearted and humble person. I will forever remember our good laughs at work and our deep conversations about life. You are missed Peter.

    I was saddened to learn of Peter’s passing. We were old friends from the lake and I will always remember the good times with Pete as kids, going to swimming lessons, water-skiing, and just hanging about at the club.

    My deepest prayers and condolences to the family.
