CHAMBERLAIN, Robert James

Nov 04, 1939 - Sep 29, 2020

At the age of 80 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 29, 2020 at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus. He was born on November 04, 1939 in Peterborough, Ontario to the late Leonard and Iris Prevost.  Beloved husband of the late Suzanne Chamberlain (nee Clouthier), stepfather of Sandra (Luc), William (Linda), Karen (Ainsworth) and Kelly (Claude). Survived by his loving sister Marlene (Gary), brother Len (Christine).He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially Sue. Also, by his beloved dog, Cara.

Thank you to all those who assisted Bob in numerous ways … Val, Luc, Scarlette, and Axelle.

Internment at the Notre Dame cemetery.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

    I’m so sorry Karen…he told me almost everytime we spoke …he wouldn’t know what he would have done without you! Bob was a very proud dad and grandpa!

    My dear friend Bobert..
    My heart is broken you were my best pal..I always looked forward to our bingo dates and visiting you at home,our almost daily chats and texts.You were a true gentleman and a scholar as you would always say about ppl. You always made me smile…when I was down youd say well …at least its better than being kicked in the ass with a frozen muckluck! Always made me feel better just having you to be around and to talk too! I will never forget you Bob you made my world a brighter place! I will miss you terribly!! 💔R.I.P My dear dear friend! 💓
