It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, June Theresa Blais, age 90,  on January 6, 2022, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.

June was the loving mother of John (Linda) Suzanne, Raymond Jr., Ronald (Merle), Jeannette, Joanne (David), Richard (Claudette), Kim, and Christine (Steven).  Predeceased by her loving husband Raymond Blais.

Our mother fought a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, and similar to life, she was strong until the end. We will remember her beautiful smile and laughter.

Mom, we know that we will miss you dearly, but we know that heaven is happy to have another angel back. Thank you for being such a wonderful woman, a beautiful mother, and a great friend.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to all of the support workers in the Bungalows at the Peter D Clarke LTC home. Your loving care to our mother over the last 7 years has been greatly appreciated.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a service will not be held at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a future date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
