It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce Gillian (Jill) Virginia Anderson’s passing on November 29, 2024 at the age of 62.

Gillian was born on January 10, 1962, to Alexander (Andy) and Geraldine (Meadus) Anderson, in Halifax. She was a loving mother to Stephanie Jackson, Mackenzie Jackson, Sam Metcalf and Graham Metcalf; joyous grandmother to Mateo Vasquez; dearest sister to Holly Yestrau; and beloved partner to Stuart Malcolm.

Gillian will forever be remembered for her zest for life and a beautiful smile that lit up the room. She truly was an inspiration to all who knew her.

A special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals who always went above and beyond to care for Gillian.
