Private Family Moment. We can arrange for up to 10 people to gather with your loved one before cremation takes place. We can dress your loved one in clothing you provide and place any jewelry or scents they normally wore. We will use light cosmetics to make sure they look as much like themselves as possible and we will set up a cozy room at our facility which you will have access to for an hour to say any final goodbyes or to leave any letters, blankets, stuffed animals, flowers, etc.. There is an additional fee of $395 for a private family moment.

A licensed funeral director will contact you by the end of the following day.

Confirmation of non-visual identity. Must be completed by next of kin or other legally authorized representative making the arrangements: At Direct cremation Services, we offer each family the opportunity to have a private family visit prior to cremation. This allows the closure of the family as well as a final farewell. If you decide to decline, we require a recent photo to upload below, along with any identifying marks to note (eg tattoo, scar). Cremated remains will be returned in a temporary urn at no additional cost. Cremation urns contain approximately 200 to 220 cubic inches of cremated remains. These urns are considered normal size. Available in different shapes, materials and colors, the selection of a crematorium urn is a personal and individual choice.

Once the cremation is complete, you have the option of having the cremated remains, death certificates and other necessary documents returned to you by mail, home delivery or collection at our office.

Professional and personnel services $ 235.00
Online Professional consultation including, but not limited to, expert advice on options to meet your needs. Our services also includes an online obituary on our website at no additional cost.
Registration and Documentation $250.00
Completion and filling of all documents necessary to carry out the services and supplies requested, including, but not limited to, death registration, burial permit, coroner's certificate for cremation & provision of Proof of Death Certificates.
Sheltering of remains $360.00
Transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home (within 50 kilometers) $ 595.00
Additional distance will be charged at $2.00 per kilometre.
