Robert “Bob” Mercer

Apr 11, 1946 - Dec 17, 2025

Passed peacefully on December 17th, 2025, at the age of 79.

Bob was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Lorrie (nee Carvill), and a cherished father to his children, Brenda and Ryan. His legacy lives on through his adored grandchildren Mae, Owen, Eve, and Logan. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and May Mercer, and will be deeply missed by his brothers Tom, Melvyn, and Brian. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob was a man of many passions. A private pilot with a love for aviation, he enjoyed soaring through the skies, and his love for woodworking was evident in the beautiful pieces he crafted. For many years, Bob worked as a truck driver, where he built lasting friendships and traveled far and wide. He also had a keen eye for photography, capturing moments that would forever be cherished by his family.

Following his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private burial will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the dementia society.

Please accept our sincerest condolences Lor! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Bob was funny and witty and we will always refer to him as ‘the blind guy’. Remember that story? Love you.🥰

Brenda(Johnny), Ryan(Shannon), Mae, Logan, Owen, Eve and Laurie, our deepest condolences. Uncle Bob always made us laugh. Especially when he purposely riled up his big sis (my mom). Granted it wasn’t hard to do. ;) May he rest in eternal peace.
