Feb 28, 1940 - Jul 04, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Muriel Gertrude Charron on July 4, 2025, at the age of 85.
Muriel was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who lived a life filled with quiet strength, warmth, and kindness. She leaves behind her beloved children, Mike Hall (Shari) and Marnie Clark (Tom), and her cherished grandson Harry, who brought her endless pride and joy.
Muriel retired after many years as an examiner with the Canadian Bank Note, where she was known for her dedication and meticulous attention to detail.
She was happiest in the water—whether at the local pool or on her travels—and spent countless hours swimming, a pastime she truly loved. In her younger years, she cared for horses and spoke often and fondly of those days, carrying those memories close to her heart.
Muriel had a gift for forming strong bonds wherever she lived. She enjoyed the companionship of her condo neighbours and remained close with dear friends and former neighbours from her time in Woodlawn, many of whom felt like extended family.
Muriel will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of conversation, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you take a moment to connect with someone you care about—a gesture Muriel would deeply appreciate.
