Jonathan Marshall

Apr 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Alexander MacDonald Marshall, born in Ottawa, Ontario on July 1st 1992 and passed on March 11th  2022 at the age of 29.

Jonathan was a loving father and spouse, a brother and son, and friend to many. His smile and presence would light up any room he entered. Known for his sense of humour and ability to make everyone he met laugh, he will be remembered as a bright spirit who brought joy to so many.

He is loved and cared for by many. He will be greatly missed by many: his children, Isabelle and Dominic, his spouse Sara, brothers Shawn (Shannon), Michael (Fiona), two nieces Sage and Aspen, parents David and Dawna, and as his in-laws, Rebecca, Steven, Laura and Zach.

While we mourn the loss of this great person we ask that anyone who knew Jonathan remember their fond memories and share them. It is through those memories that his legacy lives on.

Friends and family may visit a Celebration of Life on April 16 at the Kemptville Municipality Centre in suite A, from 1-4 pm. We ask that you bring your favourite memories and photos of Jon to celebrate his spirit that will live on through these memories.

It’s amazing how memory works but he will last in mine forever. Unfortunately Jonathan and I hadn’t spoken in 20 years and when i finally go to reach out today I’m much too late, I’m so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of being able to call Jonathan my best, and sometimes my only, friend when we were very young and have memories of us going back to 3 years old. We were neighbors and born about a month apart many of my early memories were with him and ill miss him dearly as I always have.
Family please feel free to reach out as ill be finding all the pictures I can
