My deepest condolences on Bob’s passing. I always enjoyed our catch-ups when we ran into each other. Had a great smile and always so welcoming!
My name is Courtney. I am one of Roberts grand children. My mom is Bonnie is his daughter. My grandfather and my eldest son share a birthday. They celebrated that birthday together over 20 years ago and it was memorable. They will forever share the same birthday. I remember going to my grandfathers cottage when I was a kid with my family and riding on the four wheeler and my grandfather would cook us an amazing breakfast on the wood stove. Some of the best memories of him and of my life. I’ll miss you grampa Banks. Forever in my heart.
Your granddaughter,
Courtney
Rest in peace, Grandpa. Looking at this photo of you back in the day, we can already see that spark and strength he carried for 89 years.
He never wasted words and he never had to. We always knew exactly where we stood with him and how much he loved us. He spent his life looking out for this family with a straight-to-the-point attitude and an even bigger heart. We’re all better for having known him. Give ’em heck up there, Grandpa.
Hi dad!❤️. I love you and will miss you 😢 very much. I’m sad, I didn’t get to say goodbye. You were my rock dad, you always had time to give me advice, even though I didn’t always agree. Love you dad. ❤️. I will always be there for your best friend and soul mate if she needs me. She’s getting the peanut butter cookies I had for you and perfected with more peanut butter! Love you 😘. Rest well. 🥰
