It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Linda Marie Johnston on July 27, 2026, at the age of 70, at the Ottawa General Hospital.

She was the devoted and beloved wife of Robert, a loving mother to Andrew (Kelly) and Lisa (Andy), and a proud and caring grandmother to Olivia, Kylie, and Riley, who brought immense joy to her life.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her siblings Mark (Cindy), Phil (Sharron), Monica (Romeo), Cathy, Connie (Bill) and sister-in-law Cathy.  She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Marguerite, sister Donna (Peter), her brother Michael, sister-in-law Caroline (Lorne), and brother-in-law Eric. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her special companions, Angie, Owen, and Rosie.

Linda will be cherished for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. Her compassion, generosity, and unwavering love touched countless lives, and her memory will continue in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5538 Bank Street, Greely, Ontario. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend. A reception will follow in the parish hall, where loved ones can gather to celebrate Linda’s life and share cherished memories.
