In Loving Memory of Mr. Jean-Pierre \u201cJohn\u201d Vallieres<\/p>\n
Jean-Pierre Vallieres, known to many as John, passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2025, at the age of 78.<\/p>\n
He was the beloved son of the late Arthur and Stella Vallieres, and the devoted husband of the late Vivian Vallieres.<\/p>\n
Jean-Pierre leaves behind his children, who mourn his passing deeply. His eldest daughter, Joanne Vallieres-Brabant (Gaetan Brabant), his daughter Christine Fortier (Corey Fortier), and his daughter Natalie Francis (Jamie Francis). He also leaves behind his stepchildren: Cindy Hill (Florence Hill); Jody Falconer (Robert Falconer); and Sandy-Lynn Hill.<\/p>\n
He was a loving grandfather to Natasha Marchand, DJ Marchand, Shawn Depatie, Jessey Fortier, and Jaylee Francis, as well as Damian Hill, Skyler LeGros, Selena Hill, JS Hill, Devlon Falconer.<\/p>\n
He was also a proud great-grandfather to Terick Marchand, Indie Mae Depatie, Tony Depatie, Nova Depatie, Travis Fortier, River Fortier, Harlow Jesmer, and Zaylon Benedict.<\/p>\n
Jean-Pierre is survived by his brother, Arthur Gosselin, and by his sisters, Cecile Brow, Julie Deforest, and Yvette Brodeur. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.<\/p>\n
He was predeceased by his godson Todd St-Louis, his grandson Daylon Francis, and his stepson Anthony Hill.<\/p>\n
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Cornwall Community Hospital and First Memorial Funeral Home for their care and support during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
In accordance with Jean-Pierre\u2019s wishes, no formal service will be held. However, a celebration of his life will be planned in the near future.<\/p>\n
