Special thanks to the critical care staff for their professionalism and support.<\/p>\n<p>Stella was born September 14, 1937, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario the only child to Harry Chaban and Anne Kit. She was predeceased by her cherished husband Yvan Bruneau from Victoriaville, Quebec in 1972. Stella is survived by her four sons Glen Kit, Andre Bruneau, Marc Bruneau (Alexandra) and Rodney Bruneau (Lisa). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Hannah, Cameron, Gabby, Sarah, Arthur and many nieces, nephews and cousins.<\/p>\n<p>Stella dedicated her life to helping others working as a nurses\u2019 aid, teachers\u2019 aid, child caregiver and personal support worker.\u00a0 After retiring Stella spent the next 15 years volunteering at the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre and Laurier Manor Residence.<\/p>\n<p>A private service has taken place at First Memorial Funeral\u00a0Services on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 for immediate family and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bruyere Foundation would be greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BRUNEAU, Stella June &#8211; Madame Stella June Bruneau d\u2019Ottawa, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 81 ans, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e soudainement le dimanche 11 novembre 2018, \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital Montfort, entour\u00e9e de ses proches. La famille souhaite remercier le personnel des soins intensifs de l\u2019h\u00f4pital Montfort d\u2019Ottawa pour leur professionnalisme et leur soutien.<\/p>\n<p>Fille unique de Harry Chaban et Anne Kit, Stella est n\u00e9e le 14 septembre 1937 \u00e0 Kirkland Lake en Ontario. Elle est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e par son bien-aim\u00e9 mari Yvan Bruneau de Victoriaville au Qu\u00e9bec, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 en 1972. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses quatre fils\u00a0: Glen Kit, Andr\u00e9 Bruneau, Marc Bruneau (Alexandra) et Rodney Bruneau (Lisa); ses petits-enfants : Hannah, Cameron, Gabby, Sarah et Arthur qui se souviendront affectueusement d\u2019elle; ainsi que de nombreux neveux, ni\u00e8ces et cousins.<\/p>\n<p>Ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 aide-infirmi\u00e8re, assistante enseignante, pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux soutiens et proche aidant aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un enfant, Stella a d\u00e9di\u00e9 sa vie \u00e0 l\u2019aide de son prochain. Elle a m\u00eame pass\u00e9 ses\u00a015 premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de retrait\u00e9e \u00e0 la R\u00e9sidence \u00c9lisabeth-Bruy\u00e8re ainsi qu\u2019au Manoir Laurier en tant que b\u00e9n\u00e9vole.<\/p>\n<p>Un service priv\u00e9 r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 la famille imm\u00e9diate a eu lieu au salon fun\u00e9raire First Memorial le mardi 13 novembre 2018. Une C\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la vie aura lieu \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure.
