GAULIN, Sheila – Passed away peacefully in her 91st year on February 1, 2013 at Elisabeth Bruyere Centre, with her loving daughter by her side.\u00a0 Proud grandmother of Christopher, Amanda (John), Jenna, and Joshua, and great grandmother of Joshua and Oliver.\u00a0 Predeceased by her beloved husband Charles, son Gerald, her parents and six siblings.\u00a0 Sheila will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Ireland, England, the U.S., and Australia. Sheila was an avid gardener and a very stylish lady.\u00a0 She loved cooking, particularly on Holidays, and also enjoyed being with friends and family.\u00a0 She was a long time member of the church choir at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish in Ottawa.\u00a0 Sheila was born in Dublin, Ireland. She married in England and then immigrated to Canada as a war bride where she was welcomed warmly into her husband’s family.\u00a0 Sheila’s final weeks were spent at the Elisabeth Bruyere hospice, where the extraordinary staff provided loving care and comfort for both her and her family.<\/p>\n
